From academic training under a former Government Chief Valuer to current court and bank panel appointments.

D. S. Premasiri has over eight years of valuation and real estate experience spanning moveable and immovable assets — residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and specialised properties — across every district in Sri Lanka.

His expertise covers manufacturing facilities registered under the BOI and IDB, condominiums, licensed theatres, star-rated hotels and resorts, mineral and leisure properties, and hydro power plants, alongside ongoing consultancy for leading corporates and real estate companies in the country.

He began as a Trainee Valuation Surveyor under Mr. P. W. Senaratne (MRICS, FIV), the former Government Chief Valuer of Sri Lanka, before going on to serve in the Government Valuation Department in Kegalle and as a Valuation Officer at the Land Reform Commission. He now practices as an independent Incorporated Valuation Surveyor and sits as a Commissioner of the Magistrate and District Courts.
